recent downtime

new job!

I've got a new job at a computing company in Manchester, so unfortunately I'll have a lot less time to update this site from now on, barring some vast increase in traffic here. There will still be updates, they will just arrive less frequently than they have done over the past few months.

new website

Just another note to say that I've uploaded a new website to the server for fans of the CRPG Baldur's Gate II. I recently built another site in a similar style detailing Icewind Dale, which was built with the same engine as BG2. Anyway, these sites were a welcome distraction from more serious web work, and another one for the sequel to Icewind Dale is on its way, so have a look if you know the games.

hi all, just a second note to say that the site has now moved servers and there should be no more bandwidth problems. i still havent tested everything thoroughly, so if anyone notices anything id appreciate if you dropped me an email.

scheduled downtime

hi all, just a quick note to say that the site may be offline for a day or two at some point over the next week. the new icewind dale site i built has been very popular, and this coupled with the philosophy pages site has raised bandwidth usage too much for the current server to take, so im going to have to move again. this time the new hosting company will provide unlimited bandwidth however, so it will all be for the best in the long run.
