5. Kresslack

Kresslack will talk to you here, and will discuss his history of battle and conquest, explaining how and why this tomb was built. He'll ask that your party complete a task for him in exchange for information. Kresslack wants you to murder a priestess of Auril, whom he fears will desecrate his tomb and rob it of light and warmth.

You will need to return to the Vale of Shadows to find Lysan, the priestess. When you have slain her, return to Kresselack's Tomb here and tell him you've performed the boon. He will offer you the contents of his sarcophagus: gold pieces, a potion of healing, Kresslack's Sword, a helmet, a suit of plate mail Armour and a random magical item.

You should now return to Kuldahar and speak with a man named Mirek near the Potter's home, and Whitcomb in the Root Cellar Tavern. Lysan has been working at the tavern in disguise, Whitcomb will give you her belongings when he learns this.

Following this, speak to Arundel, who will send you on a search for an ancient druidic scrying stone, the Heartstone Gem.
